Madison Dompkosky is a sophomore at Wyoming Seminary College
Preparatory School in Kingston.
She is a member
of her school’s dance team.
She is also a
member of two competition dance teams at the David Blight School of
Madison has been competing in the
Miss America program for three years.
crowned Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen this year, she held the
title of Miss Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s Outstanding Teen 2017.
Madison comes from a long history of military family members.
Her mother and
countless grand-fathers and great, great grandfathers served in the
U.S. Navy and her brother is currently serving in the U.S. Air
For the past two
years, Madison has been expanding her “Thank a Veteran” campaign
into local schools and summer camps.
She states she
will not stop until all schools in the United States incorporate
some form of patriotic education.
Madison has held several fundraising events for PA Wounded Warriors,
Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
This year she was
thrilled to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon on the HFOT racing
team and raised money for both HFOT and CMNH.
Madison was honored to represent
the state of Pennsylvania at the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen
pageant in Orlando.
She was a top-ten
finalist for the Teens in Action award, top ad sales and second
highest fundraiser for CMNH.
Over the past
three years, Madison has raised more than $28,000 for the Children’s
Miracle Network Hospitals.
